Vesi-Bind Fc-mNG

Vesi-Bind Fc-mNG: A New Generation of Modified Extracellular Vesicles for Functional Studies and Analyses.

The Vesi-Bind Fc products offer a unique capability to functionalize EVs (extracellular vesicles) by equipping them with IgG1 (human), IgG2 (mouse), or IgG (rabbit) antibodies on their surface, utilizing the Fc domain.

This new class of biological nanoparticles was developed by the research group of Samir El Andaloussi at the Karolinska Institute. These are extracellular vesicles isolated from cells that have been engineered to express the fluorescent protein mNeonGreen within the vesicle in the presence of the transmembrane tetraspanin protein CD63, while also enabling Fc binding on their surface.

Vesi-Ref CD63-mNG is an isolate of extracellular vesicles derived from HEK 293 cells, engineered to express the fluorescent protein mNeonGreen in the presence of the tetraspanin protein CD63.

A buffer for the storage and preparation of extracellular vesicles (EV).

Maintaining the stability of extracellular vesicles (EV) is crucial during both storage and experimental procedures. EVs are sensitive to various environmental factors such as temperature fluctuations, pH changes, and freeze-thaw cycles. Vesi-Safe is a specially designed buffer for stabilizing EVs, helping to preserve their structural integrity and biological activity over time. This stability is essential to ensure the reliability and reproducibility of EV-related experiments.

Centrifugal columns for size-exclusion chromatography (SEC).

Increase the sensitivity of your assay by removing excess fluorescent dye or antibodies after incubation with minimal or no material loss.

Nano-scale analysis is highly sensitive to residual reagents and contaminants. Removing excess reagents prior to analysis is critical for obtaining reliable data. With Vesi-SEC micro columns, this purification step can be performed in under a minute, without significant material loss or dilution.
